Indiana Senate Candidate Jeff Raatz has been formally endorsed by Indiana’s leading voice for families, the Indiana Family Institute (IFI). IFI is a statewide research and education organization affiliated with Focus on the Family that was founded 24 years ago. It is a voice for traditional families in the Hoosier state.
“We are pleased to endorse Jeff as a pro-family leader with a special passion for excellence in education,” said Curt Smith, IFI President. “IFI believes he will be a true servant-leader who remains connected back home as a member of the Indiana General Assembly.”
Raatz expressed his appreciation for the IFI endorsement. “I am honored to receive the endorsement of an organization whose motto is ‘Uniting Communities to Strengthen Families’,” said Raatz. “I respect the men and women who run the organization and I appreciate their efforts to strengthen Hoosier families and improve our way of life.”
Raatz is running to represent Indiana Senate District 27, which is comprised of Randolph, Union and Wayne counties, as well as portions of Dearborn, Franklin and Fayette counties. He is a veteran of the US Army, an ordained minister, and an experienced businessman and educator.
Raatz has served on numerous boards, including the Kiwanis Club of Richmond and Faith Christian Fellowship International, and has traveled to Central and South America to experience diverse cultures firsthand. He and his wife, Lisa, moved to the Richmond area in 1998 and currently reside in Centerville with their two daughters.
